The Church of Thessaly is a community devoted to studying and practicing the religion and spirituality of ancient Greece (Hellas). Founded in 1994 by Monte Plaisance, it stands as one of the longest-established Hellenic Pagan religious orders in the United States. Our mission is to perpetuate the ancient Hellenic traditions, with members worldwide benefiting from the expanded awareness that Thessalian teachings and practices provide. We aim to create a spiritual and temperate society by offering seekers the spiritual and philosophical wisdom needed to experience their connectedness with the ancient gods of Hellas and the miraculous world around us.
